We have crafted 4 ways to make super convenient overnight oats to restore your faith in a good and healthy breakfast. We called it convenient is because it can be done while you are sleeping. Really.

The oat base formula requires 4 ingredients – rolled oats, chia seeds, milk (we used unsweetened soy milk), and sweetener (we used maple syrup).

How to make Overnight Oats 4 Ways

Preparation

for 1 serving

Oat base

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

Blueberry Lemon

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Blueberries
  • Mix nuts, slivered

Peanut Butter Raisins

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • Dried raisins
  • Some peanuts, slivered

Chocolate Banana

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Mix nuts, slivered

Pina Colada

  • Pineapple, diced
  • Coconut, sliced
  • Mix nuts, slivered

Step-by-step

Oat base

  1. In a mason jar, mix together oats, chia seeds, soy milk and maple syrup.
  2. Cover and soak overnight for at least 6 hours in the refrigerator.

Toppings

  1. In a bowl, or in the same mason jar, just mix with any topping of your choice – it’s that simple!
  2. Tip: You can eat it cold or warm – just reheat 30 to 60 seconds in the microwave.
