The oat base formula requires 4 ingredients – rolled oats, chia seeds, milk (we used unsweetened soy milk), and sweetener (we used maple syrup).

Preparation

Oat base
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- ½ cup unsweetened soy milk
- 2 tsp maple syrup
Blueberry Lemon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Blueberries
- Mix nuts, slivered
Peanut Butter Raisins
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- Dried raisins
- Some peanuts, slivered
Chocolate Banana
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 banana, sliced
- Mix nuts, slivered
Pina Colada
- Pineapple, diced
- Coconut, sliced
- Mix nuts, slivered
Step-by-step
Oat base
- In a mason jar, mix together oats, chia seeds, soy milk and maple syrup.
- Cover and soak overnight for at least 6 hours in the refrigerator.
Toppings
- In a bowl, or in the same mason jar, just mix with any topping of your choice – it’s that simple!
- Tip: You can eat it cold or warm – just reheat 30 to 60 seconds in the microwave.
